Remember when I got my Mealthy MultiPot? I was not yet on the pressure cooker bandwagon, but this small appliance converted me. Now, I find I use it all the time! It’s a workhorse in my kitchen. Since then, Mealthy has come out with a new addition that created these delicious Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts.
Mealthy has introduced the CrispLid. It converts any 6qt or 8qt electric pressure cooker into an air fryer. Whaaatttt??? But how? You simply remove the pressure cooker lid, place the CrispLid on top, set the temp and go! Then, you’ll be munching on delicious food in minutes.
About the Mealthy CrispLid
With the CrispLid, you can also broil and crisp your lasagnas, mac n cheese and chicken wings directly in the steel pot of your electric pressure cooker. And, it’s compatible with both 6 and 8 quart electric pressure cookers.
Sounds too good to be true? Well, it’s good AND it’s true. I received my CrispLid a few months back and immediately whipped up some zucchini sticks spiced with Mrs. Dash Jalapeno seasoning to give it some kick. This resulted in an amazing delicious and easy side dish.
At this point, I was hooked.
The CrispLid arrives with all you need to get started.
- Air fryer basket
- 3-legged Trivet
- Tongs with silicone to keep from scratching your pot
- Silicone mat to set hot lid on to protect your kitchen surfaces

Fresh veggies are so healthy and a good part of my daily nutritional needs. Since I hate cooking with a ton of oil and butter, an air fryer attachment to my already over worked MultiPot was just what I needed. Let me tell you, I love this new appliance.

Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
Deliciously healthy veggie side dish that will convert just about anyone to a brussels sprouts fan
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound fresh brussels sprouts trimmed and cut in half lengthwise
- 1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Mrs. Dash Italian Seasoning
Instructions
-
Coat the sprouts with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning.
-
Place the CrispLid trivet in the inner steel pot of the MultiPot (or Instant Pot). Place the CrispLid Basket on top.
-
Add the sprouts to the basket and place the CrispLid on top of the Pot and plug it in. The MultiPot/Instant Pot should remain UNPLUGGED. The lid will do the cooking, not the Pot.
-
Set the temp to 400 degrees and the cook time to 10-15 minutes, depending on how tender you want them. Hit the start button. The CrispLid will beep when it's done. This recipe serves two but I've been known to eat the whole batch.
Check out how crispy and delicious these look. As soon as they were done I dove right in since I just could not wait. I could eat these like candy.
