Holiday parties are typically pot luck type so these Crab & Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms are the perfect appetizer to share with family and friends.
Can you believe the holidays are here? Like this week? With holiday season in full bloom I know we’re all in search of quick and easy recipes for parties and gatherings. These stuffed mushrooms made with Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese is the perfect easy party solution for your holiday entertaining. You can thank me later.
I’m a busy person working full time and have church activities along with caring for house full of pets (and hubby). Simple solutions for the many holiday party recipes is something I look for. Stuffed mushrooms are a favorite appetizer for me to make, and of course to eat. These are made tastier using Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese. You can find this in your dairy section of Walmart, which is where I headed when I volunteered to make an appetizer for a holiday party. Walmart has everything I needed to make this recipe. Between now and February 13th, 2016, you can grab a coupon for $1.00 off two Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese packages.
I found a large quantity of Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese in the bottom bin. I bought the two-pack since the last thing I want to have happen is to run out of my main stuffed mushrooms ingredient. That would be a disaster!
When you have a crowd to serve, make-ahead appetizers are the way to go. I love this recipe because you can mix the stuffing well ahead of time and keep it in the fridge, even overnight. I did this and it stayed just fine until I was ready to stuff my mushrooms and pop them into the oven.
One thing to mention; when you make these, I highly suggest you use your muffin tin to hold your stuffed mushrooms upright. Not only does it keep them from rolling around, but the muffin tin cups catch any excess juice that would spread out on your cookie sheet or spill onto the bottom of the oven, keeping a giant smokey mess from happening. The sound of the smoke alarm does not go well with Christmas music.
