Pineapple Salmon Post sponsored by Budweiser Brewmaster’s Premium Sauces. Delicious fish wrapped up in a foil pack and dressed with honey flavor Budweiser Barbecue Sauce. Perfect for summertime cooking or for camping.
All opinions are my own.
It’s that time again… time to fire up the grill. Summer is just that much better cooking outside…. you know it, I know it. And just when it you thought you had the right sauce, along comes Budweiser with a new line of sauces that will rock your world.
Budweiser created a new line of sauces & marinades that will dress up your chicken, steaks and fish. I am participating in a recipe challenge with many other bloggers and our recipes feature one of the new Budweiser BBQ Sauces and Marinades.
There are a bunch of sauce flavors too: Classic, Sweet & Smokey, Honey, Sweet & Spicy and Bold & Spicy. There are also wing sauces and meat marinades for steak and chicken. And… hold your hats….. they have steak and burger sauce to increase the flavor of cooked meats. With all that, where was I to start?
You know I love salmon and why not use it? Salmon is a delicious fish that grills nicely and is a nice option when grilling. For this recipe, I used sliced pineapple too. Wrapping it up in foil make this an easy camping recipe as well because there is little clean up.
This sauce was perfect for salmon. A touch of honey, Budweiser beer and a special blend of spices make this sauce sweet, sticky, and oh-so-good.
Barbecue Pineapple Salmon
- 2 salmon steaks
- 4-6 slices of pineapple
- 1/4 cup Budweiser Honey Barbecue Sauce
- 1 medium red onion diced very small
On each of two pieces of foil, lay out two pineapple rings. Place salmon on top.
Top with the chopped onion.
Spoon half the barbecue sauce over each piece. Wrap up the foil around the fish and fold, keeping the foil loose around the fish.
Place foil pack on the grill on medium heat. Cook for 15 minutes. Unwrap the foil carefully and plate the fish. Enjoy!
You can also use dehydrated onions if you have them on hand.
I love how all the flavors married together with this recipe. The Honey Budweiser Brewmaster Sauce infused both the salmon and the pineapple sauce with a sweet tangy flavor bringing the dish to a new height.
