It’s Crazy Ingredient Challenge time!
What is that you ask? It’s two ingredients voted on and chosen to use in a new creative recipe. This month I so left this to the last minute. AGAIN!! I struggled with this one and almost didn’t participate. But, I was planing turkey meatloaf and thought I’d add both to the recipe. What are the ingredients you ask? Read on….
This month’s Crazy Ingredient Challenge ingredients were BBQ Sauce & Buttermilk. Perfect for ground turkey meatloaf, right?
This recipe was made with my new GoWISE Air Fryer . I’m absolutely OBSESSED with this new fun kitchen toy! If you don’t know about Air Fryers, you should. I bought the 5.8 quart sized, which is the bigger one. An air fryer allows you to fry, bake, grill, and roast with little to no oil. Serious!! Make crispy fried chicken (and I have), bagels, fries and more. And it won’t bake the kitchen in the summer.
And I got a cute red one too. It fits right in that corner of the counter. It’s a larger one with a big basket.
Go now to Amazon and buy one!!!
So this recipe…. It’s not just an air fryer recipe, you can also bake your turkey meatloaf in the oven for about 55 minutes at 350 or so. And it turned out yummy. My mom sometimes put milk in her beef meatloaf so I figured buttermilk should work too, right?
Great idea Lori. I am very curious about the air fryers. I have a convection oven so I’m not sure if I would be duplicating gadgets.
I don’t know about convection ovens so I can’t really help you there. The air fryer is a great addition to my kitchen and I love it.
Thanks for sharing this post with us. I am little bit interested to get more information about turkey fryer. I like to share my opinion on turkry fryer .Mix this well. Take half of the above mixture and keep it aside. With the remaining mixture, rub the steak and leave it marinated for over an hour.
