With only 5-10 minutes of prep time, this is an easy holiday rolls recipe to make for family and friends.
It’s Crazy Ingredient Challenge time! This is a favorite as usual…. two ingredients voted on and chosen to use in a new creative recipe. This month, I was super excited over the ingredients picked. A little sweet, a little savory and a whole lotta delicious! What are those ingredients you ask? Well keep on reading and find a yummy recipe using these two unique ingredients.
This month’s Crazy Ingredient Challenge ingredients were Maraschino Cherries and Bacon. What an AWESOME combo, don’t you think?
This time of year when holiday parties happen often, I thought this was a perfect combination to get our creative juices flowing.
Since it IS the holidays, an appetizer was going to be it. Of course that was before life got in the way. This is a busy time of year and at my job we have a lot going on. I planned on making this last weekend but that didn’t happen. Then I thought I do it Monday night but that didn’t happen either.
So here it was Tuesday night, 7 PM, and I had not made my recipe yet. So I chucked my original idea And went with something super easy. Crescent rolls are always delicious for dinner and I thought I’d at least add these crazy ingredients to make it a kicked up holiday roll.
This recipe has four ingredients only. I started with a package of eight grand crescent rolls. You can buy the regular sized ones but I think the grands are much better for this recipe.
Kicked Up Crescent Rolls
- packet Grand crescent rolls
- 5 medium slices Bacon (Cooked crispy)
- 12-15 Marischino cherries (Stems removed and chopped)
- 2-3oz Honey goat cheese (Crumbled)
I love these rolls and I love this challenge!!! This recipe wasn’t too bad for something I thought of in the car on the way home.
