An easy dinner of Pork Chops & Apples. Made in one skillet, this simmers to sweet & savory perfection. And minimal clean up too!
Happy Sunday everyone! How has your weekend been so far? This weekend has been quite relaxing and I feel like I actually got things done. Some weekends are busy busy though! Regardless, this simple one skillet pork chop is sweet and savory and the best part is it’s super easy and perfect for those busy days or when you’re just too tired to make a full-blown meal.
Last weekend, I attended the Build Your Blog Conference in Salt Lake City Utah and I’m still recovering. This was the fifth year I’ve attended, and it just keeps getting better and better. The best part is I see old friends and make a lot of new ones here in the blogging world. From food bloggers to fashion bloggers, they all attended. So you can tell we all really needed this weekend to relax and unwind.
The conference was held in beautiful downtown Salt Lake City at the Marriott City Creek Hotel for two full days of learning and networking and just having a great time. I took two days off my full time job too which is nice because it gives me a chance to get away and check into hotel for a few days and who doesn’t like that kind of “me time?”
Of course now that it’s done I’m tired my brain is full of all sorts of new knowledge and new ideas to implement here in the blog. I don’t know if you’ve been too blog conference, or any type of conference, but if you have you certainly know how tired you can be afterwards.
That’s where one skillet meals come in because they really tend to save the day. I got the apples from our local Winder Farms on my weekly delivery this week and it certainly made a great addition to pork chops. The chops were simmered in the apples and other ingredients to make a sweet & savory dinner.
Wow! Sounds delicious!
