Slow Cooker Bacon Wrapped Pork Roast
- 2lb pork roast
- 4 Small cloves garlic
- 15 twists garlic sea salt grinder
- ground black pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 6-7 pieces bacon
- 1 Medium red bell pepper (cut into rings)
- 1 Medium sweet onion (cut into rings)
- 1 Medium fuji apple (cored and sliced)
- 8oz Reid's Wicked Apple Ale
- 4oz chicken broth
To make that delicious sauce on top (if you want to), take some of the cooked onion, peppers and apples and place them in a food processor. Add some liquid and pulse until smooth. Add as much of each item as you like, you make it your way. Unfortunately I did not write down how much of each I used, but it turned out to be a sweet peppery sauce that complimented the pork. Or forego the sauce altogether. That part is up to you!
