Got wine? I usually do and if I’m not putting into a recipe, I’ll be sipping a glass while cooking. I think wines add a lot to a meal and pairing certain wines with certain foods is something I really strive to be good at. When Mommy’s Time Out presented me with an opportunity to taste and review a red wine, I said “YES” with no hesitation. And I’m glad I did.
About Mommy’s Time Out
Mommy’s Time Out is a line of delicious, affordable wines made from Italian grapes that make great gifts or a fun girls night out. Mom deserves a break, and Mommy’s Time Out is a perfect way to sit back and relax.
Selective Wine Estates also produces two additional novelty labels including Dad’s Day Off and First-Rate Old Fart. Both make ideal gifts!
So what did I think? Well the bottle is adorable, but I think the picture looks suspiciously like Hubby. What do you think?
Aside from that, this is a light refreshing red wine that I think would pair well with salmon or steak. It’s flavor and slight sweetness is perfect for spring or summer when you want a wine that’s less heavy and more refreshing. If that’s the case for you then this one fits the bill. I think this wine would also make a delicious ingredient to a fruity spritzer or sangria.

I think Italian is a first country who introduced the wine and its brands famous all over the world. I also like its grapes wine in red color. It’s flavor and slight sweetness is perfect for spring or summer when you want a wine that’s less heavy and more refreshing.
Hello, I am using this brand last 2 years and i also use in preparing food. With the help of this wine i prepare Beef, Pasta, Lamb, Game (deer, venison). I like this brand with grapes flavor. This brand of red wine comes from Italy and has nice acidity, good balance, and mouth-watering fruit flavors.
Cool article!!
I just got into wine after drinking beer for years!
I really love the reds, especially Merlot and Pinot Noir.
I’m no expert so was wondering which red wines you recommend?
