Blake’s Pot Pies are a perfect weeknight meal.
“It’s the time of year….” Anyone know that holiday song by Frank Sinatra? It usually starts running through my head about this time each year. My Mom was a huge Sinatra fan so we knew this song well. It’s busy time of year too and there is so much to do that cooking every night is a huge challenge. Thanks to Blake’s All Natural Pot Pies, I can have a delicious satisfying meal without spending a lot of time cooking.
It brought a big smile to my face to see that my favorite grocery app Ibotta is offering $1.00 cash back when you buy (2) 8-ounce Blake’s pot pies or meals. I have been using Ibotta for several months now and I love it. It’s a super easy to use phone app and best of all, it’s free. This app gives you cash back on purchases you already make and you’ll see all kinds of savings when you use it at Walmart.
My local Walmart has a great selection of Blake’s meals located in the freezer section with the other natural and organic foods. They are right there in a perfect line of site so you won’t be able to miss them. I like the fact that the are all natural and are made in small batches, not in a huge processing plant. The Gluten-Free Chicken Pot Pie is loaded with white meat chicken, veggies & potatoes in a dreamy signature gravy. It’s comfort food at its best.
Since I’ve been shifting my food focus to more natural and organic foods, Blake’s fits right in with their all natural and organic ingredients. And as I said at the beginning, these are great for easy weeknight meals. I purchased the Chicken Pot Pie, Chicken & Dumplings and Mac N Cheese for my first time having these. I ate the Mac N Cheese right away since I was starving and got home late. Really fresh tasting and I added a bit of broccoli so I didn’t feel guilty for not eating veggies. But why feel guilty? Remember, it’s all natural.
Hubby and I ate the other two the following day. We had been running around like chickens with our head cut off and I was not in a cooking mood. Enter Blake’s…. which saved the day. Who says you can’t have a gourmet style meal on a busy day? This pot pie meal was perfect with a salad and a glass of wine. It was quick, easy and satisfying. And we had a chance to talk and enjoy each other’s company too which isn’t always easy during a busy week.
Next time you’re pressed for time, head on over to Walmart and pick up a pie or two… or three. I have a nice stash of them in my freezer now. And don’t forget to download the Ibotta app so you can get $1.00 of when you buy two!
