Eggs Benedict is a favorite of mine and so many others love them as well. The hard part is getting the eggs cooked just right. I struggle with it and I’m sure you do too. I had the opportunity to review Silicone Egg Poachers and they made cooking my eggs effortless with little clean up. And we all like that!
Look at the pretty colors! These aren’t your mama’s old poachers, these are colorful and they work great. Even better is that they store away and use little space so if your cabinet and drawer space is limited, these won’t take up hardly any room at all. The claim to have a 100% nonstick surface and do not need to be oiled, but I found a tiny spritz of cooking oil kept them from sticking. These poachers will steam-poach eggs in about 5 minutes.
These are so simple to use. Just crack open an egg and put it in the poacher.
Then, place the poacher with egg in a deep skillet (or sauce pan) and cover it up.
Let them steam for 5 minutes. When the eggs are done, just scoop them out of the poacher and you have breakfast!! These egg poachers are FDA approved 100% food-grade silicone, and can be used for poaching, melting, steaming, and warming various food items. I made my favorite; eggs benedict.
In all these silicone egg poachers will meet your egg needs. My eggs were perfect. If you like your yolks less runny, just leave them in the poacher a little longer.
