My mornings are hectic and crazy. I don’t have toddlers or school age kids here and to get ready for school so it’s not that kind of hectic. My hectic morning comes with taking care of 4 cats, 3 dogs and a bird before heading off to work. Everyone needs to have breakfast and that includes the critters and me. Sometimes I’m so busy filling food and water bowls that I’m running out the door at the last minute….. wait… where’s my breakfast? On mornings like this, Foster Farms® Pancake Wraps are the perfect solution.
It wasn’t always this crazy. We used to have just the four cats and our African Grey Parrot. Cats are pretty independent, for the most part they take care of themselves. I usually have their dry food out so they can eat whenever they want. Easy peasy, right? Then we got three dogs. Now our feathered & furry family members number 8 critters.
While at my local Walmart last week, I found the solution to my morning breakfast dilemma, Foster Farms® Pancake Wraps and they come in two flavor varieties; Original Sausage and Pancake and Sausage and Pancake Bacon, Egg and Cheese. You can call them “Breakfast on a Stick” if you like, but they’re genius! You can find them in the single serving section of the frozen foods aisle at Walmart and they come in a box of 14. Plenty to get me through a week or two.
Boy was I happy to find these. Suddenly breakfast on the go didn’t seem so boring and bland. I received a dollar off this box by using the Ibotta app on my iPhone. Ibotta is a great way to get rebates on your everyday purchases and it’s a free download on both IOS and Android. There are lots of rebates on some of your favorite items. Walmart alone had 174 rebates available on my shopping day.
How did my mornings get so crazy busy? Enter the three dogs. We acquired them last October when my mother in law passed away and they were her babies. We promised her we’d take care of them like she did which means they are totally spoiled! They were so used to undivided attention, morning trips to the dog park and just all around being pampered. Of course that means they get breakfast and snacks first thing. Hubby works nights so he’s asleep while I’m getting ready so morning pet feeding falls on me. Before I even head to work, I have my hands full making sure the right pets get the right food. Try doing that before coffee!
If that isn’t enough to make a morning busy, I still need to water the veggie garden before I leave. They need nourishment too, right? By the end of the morning routine, I’m usually running out the door with a granola bar or some portable snack. Not the best breakfast, is it?
So this past week, I was scrambling to get ready for work while juggling all the pet food. They were all fed, played with and snacked so now it was my turn. I took one of the Pancake Wraps out and popped it into the microwave. It only takes 60 seconds (flip it at the halfway point) until it’s done and ready to eat. It was easy to munch on this while giving the veggie garden their morning drink.
Now I have breakfast in a snap. Head on down to your local Walmart and pick up a box of Foster Farms® Pancake Wraps. They’ll get you through your busy morning with ease. And don’t forget to download the Ibotta app to help you save money on everyday purchases and get $1.00 back on Foster Farms® Pancake Wraps.
How often do you skip breakfast because of a busy morning? Would Foster Farms® Pancake Wraps help you?
I am now in the App Store! If you have an apple device, go to your App Store, search “Lori’s Culinary Creations” and download the app for free.
I thought my morning was busy trying to out the door by 7am. Then I read yours. Wow. I need to get some breakfast on a stick for myself. Do they have them at the grocery store? Walmart isn’t that close to me.
They should. Look in the frozen breakfast area and where the corn dogs are located. They’re way yummy.
My son LOVES those… he’s favorite breakfast option.
This post has so much cuteness in it! Breakfast is such a hard meal to get to, so this would be very handy! Thanks for sharing!
My husband loves these for breakfast, they taste so good!

That is a great idea. My kids are lazy in the morning, and even the frozen waffles mean they have to get a plate and fork out and then clean up afterward. This is a great option that they can eat on their walk to school.
These look great for a busy morning! Nom nom
