Can you believe 2014 is almost over? Where did this year go? I am a firm believer that as you get older, the years just fly by. How did your year go? We had some ups and downs here. Busy year with frequent travel to California after the death of my mother in law, we have three dogs we added to the zoo and we moved to a bigger house with a dream kitchen! We feel so blessed this year and am looking forward to what 2015 has to offer.
As for this fun blog, there has been growth and new adventures in the kitchen. But what were YOUR favorites? Here I have compiled my top 10 posts this past year. Thank you all for visiting and I hope to bring you more of what you love in 2015.
Starting with #10 – Baked Pork Chops in a Creamy Parmesan Sauce. This heavenly sauce kept you folks coming back for more!
#9 – Chicken & Potatoes on the Grill. The ease of this recipe was perfect for outdoor bbq’s and camping. And little clean up!
#8 – Baked Shrimp Egg Rolls. Fun game day appetizer that I made several times this past year.
#7 – Fall off the Bone Chicken Drummettes. I took these to a few parties this year and they were a hit. It’s the sauce that makes this an epic appetizer.
#6 – Slow Cooker Pot Roast. What started as a product review back in 2012 turned into one of the most viewed recipes.
#5 – Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip. You all love your appetizers (who doesn’t?) and this one was a sure hit. I find this appetizer perfect for the big game!
#4 – Creamy Muffin Tin Mac N Cheese Bites. Mac N Cheese isn’t just for the kiddos, this is grown up style! Made with fresh pasta, this was amazing.
#3 – Copycat Costco Stuffed Salmon. This one is my #1 post when it comes to Google searches. And, since Costco doesn’t have this every time I visit, I had to make my own to satisfy my salmon craving.
#2 – Roasted Parsley Red Potatoes. This was actually the #1 post in 2013 and probably the post popular overall. Who doesn’t like potatoes? And it’s easy too!
And the #1 post of 2014…. (drumroll please)…. Easy Homemade Calzones. Make your own pizza parlor favorite at home with this easy recipe. The best part is you can customize your own and all the picky eaters in the house can get what they crave.
There you have it…. all the yumminess of 2014 in one spot. Or at least the top 10. I really enjoy bringing these recipes to you so you can have your own adventure in the kitchen. I welcome your input and if there is anything you would like to see posted here, a recipe you want to try, cooking tip, ANYTHING… comment below and let me know. Wishing all of you a joyous and happy 2015!
