Green Mountain Gringo Salsa and Tortilla Strips Review #tastefullycrafted

Anyone that knows me is aware that I haven’t met a chip I didn’t like. I love the salty crunchiness of chips and they are a favorite snack of mine. In fact, chips and salsa are my comfort food compared to hubby who likes the cookies and ice cream. I was on top of the world when I was presented with the opportunity to review Green Mountain Gringo Salsa and Tortilla strips. The tortilla strips were a huge hit for my Thanksgiving appetizer and I just loved how fresh and crunchy they were.  Add to that, they use all natural ingredients which made it even better.

From their website:

“Just what it needs and nothing it doesn’t.” Those eight words sum up our entire approach to salsa. Because we believe that when you start with superior, all natural ingredients, you can make something delicious without taking chemical shortcuts.

That’s why we use hand-picked vegetables and the perfect blend of essential herbs and spices. On paper, the recipe probably seems rather simple. But to those who know our salsas, Tastefully Crafted is the only way to describe it.

Our commitment to the gluten free, preservative free, fat free, kosher certified, all-natural goodness of Green Mountain Gringo® gets us recognized as a top salsa time and again.

Natural food tracking company SPINS rated our salsa #2 in the country and gave our tortilla strips #6 nationally. Health Magazine tipped their hat and named Green Mountain Gringo® Salsa “best brand in its class” and described our product “as close to homemade as store bought salsa gets.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

My biggest issue with jarred salsa is that it tastes too salty. I want the salt on my chips, not in my salsa. These chips were a prefect blend of flavor and salt. Not too salty at all!  The chips have a perfect crunch and did not fail me under the weight of the salsa. And I like to take big dips of salsa!

When to eat chips and salsa? All the time! But in front of the TV with a football game on is the best!
