I had the awesome opportunity to review and use these stainless steel measuring cups by KitchenMade. If you’re like me, you have one or more complete or even incomplete sets of measuring cups rolling around in your kitchen drawers. My plastic ones seem to wear out quickly and the lighter color ones stain after many uses. Not these. These cups are my new favorite. Want to know why? Read on…..

As soon as these came, I whipped up a batch of banana bread. I had some of those mushy one’s in my fruit bowl and this was my chance to use them up AND try out my new spoons.
Applesauce Banana Bread
|Prep time||15 minutes|
|Cook time||1 hour, 5 minutes|
|Total time||1 hour, 20 minutes|
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 3/4 cups honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 4 over ripe bananas
This would be good if you add walnuts too
I like how the measuring cups are so solid and the bottom is so flat. I have an old set that has a small base and I’ve knocked them over a time or two. Not possible with these. I have the tiniest kitchen on the planet, so very little room to move around and things can tend to get knocked over. Now I can rest knowing that every bit of my ingredients get into my recipe.
