Happy day before the 4th. I’m not sure what your plans are, but we were thinking of going to Hogle Zoo here in Salt Lake for Military Appreciation Day. The only problem? It’s going to be 98 degrees. That’s a bit hot, but we’ll see what we decide to do. Hubby said we can pack a lunch when we go so there is an option…. Thinking along those lines, little bite sized snacks or muffins would be great to take with us to snack on. I had the prefect opportunity (and perfect timing) to make mini muffins using the Grazia Mini Muffin Pan I was sent to review.
Using silicone baking pans make so much sense to me. First, they’re easier to clean and second, things don’t stick like they do in a metal pan. THe Grazia 24 cup Mini Muffin Pan is no exception. When I baked my banana muffins to take with us, the muffins cooked up great and clean up was a breeze. The Grazia® Silicone 24 Cup MINI Muffin Pan is a non-stick food grade silicone muffin cupcake baking pan that is extremely easy to clean, safe to use in the oven, microwave, dishwasher, or freezer. It is heat resistant for up to 450°F.
It is also:
–High Quality Construction
–Manufactured in Socially Compliant Facility
To use the pan, you need to first put it on a cookie sheet. The silicone pan is flexible and you really can’t pull it in and out of the oven like a metal tray. And, as long as what you make doesn’t overflow, you can just pop the cookie sheet back in the drawer when done. My muffins came out great and the muffin pan delivered on all it’s promises. I had forgotten to use cooking spray beforehand but it didn’t seem to matter. After allowing the muffins to cool, I just popped them out of their little trays and there was no sticking, no mess to clean up and that was that.
To purchase your own pan, head on over to Amazon where you can pick one up for $19.88. You’ll love it.
