You’re probably looking at this picture thinking “Hasn’t she posted that already?” Well the answer is yes and no. Last week, I reviewed a silicone bakers mat and cooked Garlic and Herb Slider buns. I told you then the slider recipe was coming and here it is!! By adding sauce and seasoning, you can create delicious Barbecue and Chipotle Sliders that went perfectly with those buns.

That little side dish next to the slider are cherry tomatoes marinated in extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and fresh basil. Even though the slider wasn’t enormous, I still wanted something that resembled a salad to go on the side.
I make burgers often and usually season them differently every time. I just use a sauce that is already open in the fridge, add garlic and herbs then allow it to sit and “blend” for an hour or so. This slider was no exception. What is really cool about using what you have in the fridge for seasoning is you can make yours one way, hubby’s another way and same with the kids. For mine, I added just a bit more chipotle then hubby’s since I like the kick of the chipotle flavor.
