I received one or more products for free from Kristian Regale to review. Regardless, all opinions are 100% my own.
I know I’ve mentioned our community co-op about a dozen times on here. I’m sure some of you are saying “ENOUGH already!” but I have to give a shout out to them for the delicious strawberries that were in my produce box last week. They were ripe, sweet and delicious! So much so that I thought it would be great to make a light refreshing springtime strawberry spritzer. I had recently received 6 bottles of juice from Kristian Regale to review. I thought “hmmm….. those would make great springtime drinks.
Strawberries and sparkling juice? Yes please. Of the one’s I received, I chose to use the Pomegranate Apple variety. It is described on their website like this:
Enjoyed by ancient civilizations, the pomegranate has recently re-emerged as a healthful “superfruit.” Rich in antioxidants, pomegranate is increasingly recommended for a healthy heart, anti-aging and disease prevention diets. Kristian Regále Pomegranate-Apple Sparkler is made with delicious, all natural pomegranate juice.
Mouthwatering don’t you think? And a super fruit? Absolutely! So here is what I did……. I took two juice glasses and moistened the rim by pressing it against a clean damp wash cloth. I then dipped the rim in regular white sugar. I chopped up 2 of the very large strawberries and placed them in the bottom of the glass.
Then, I topped those with some ice, then added 1/4 cup of Pomegranate vodka to each, then filled the rest of the glass with the Pomegranate Apple sparkling juice to just under the sugar. Garnished with another delicious strawberry and voila!! A spritzer worthy of a king… or queen…
Delightfully light and fresh, the strawberry spritzer was made even better with the sparkling pomegranate apple juice. Hubby loved it too! And the sugar around the rim crystalized so that means it didn’t flake off and you had that nice sweet sugar flavor with every sip.
Stay tuned for more recipes featuring Kristian Regale Sparkling Juices. I think the Pear variety is up next <wink, wink>.
