I’m picky when it comes to body wash and soaps. I have sensitive skin, especially during the winter, and some products leave my skin dry, itchy and just yucky. As a Purex insider, I have received full sized products on occasion to review and this time they sent their Dial Body Wash with Vitamin Boost. On the label it gives a soft skin promise and I was very eager to try it. Finding a body wash that doesn’t dry me out is near the top of my list.
The body wash contains
- Dial® Vitamin Boost is infused with Lotion for a moisturizing lather
- Dial® Vitamin Boost with Vitamin Complex Amazing B
- Moisture Balance
I like the packaging and when I first used it, I noticed the soap had a nice bright green color. That probably doesn’t matter to a lot of people, but it’s the same green as my bathroom accent color so I took notice.
The wash is lotion infused and you could tell that right when you poured some on the sponge. It was thick and had a creamy texture to it. It lathered up quickly and none of the soap dribbled on the shower floor like some of the thinner washes do.
And the scent is heavenly. I’m also very picky about how soaps smell and some are just way too harsh for me. This was fruity and mild and didn’t have that strong scent that makes me sneeze. The scent also stays with you after the shower and it’s still not overpowering.
Did it make my skin feel softer? Yes it did. Living in Utah which is a dry desert and being indoors with the heater blasting is enough to dry my skin to the point it itches. The Dial body wash really helped in keeping my skin soft and it stayed that way throughout the day.
