If you’re on the hunt for comfort food without all the calories, these baked pork chops are for you!
Welcome!
I hope you’re all having an amazing day. Have I got a delicious recipe for you today. Pork Chops with a dreamy creamy sauce that would leave you feeling guilty after all the holiday foods. This one is perfect to make for a quick weeknight meal.
Please don’t let the “creamy” in the title scare you off. With all the holiday eating, this is one you can feel pretty good about since I used fat free sour cream and low sodium cream of chicken soup to cut down on calories and salt. And, neither ingredient took away the flavor and richness of the sauce.
I’ve been really getting into making sauces for my meals and this one is no exception. But, many sauces can be heavy in fat and calories so it’s important for me to find lower fat alternatives. This sauce took these bone-in baked pork chops to an entirely new level and kept them moist and juicy while baking. There is nothing I dislike more then over-baked pork chops. Rest assured, these will be wonderful.
I served this with some rice and green beans. The beans this time were canned (sshhhh… don’t tell!) since I didn’t have fresh on hand, but a little Mrs. Dash seasoning and they were good to go. I also use low sodium canned veggies as well to cut down on salt. I find there is no difference with the flavor.
Lori,
These pork chops look delicious! I love pork chops and am always looking for new ways to cook them. Especially in the winter when I can’t grill outside so I’ll definitely be trying this recipe.
xoxo,
Michelle

The instructions have steps one and two as the same direction. Most of the ingredients are not in the instructions at all. Help! I want to make this but am unsure how to proceed!
Thank you for that catch. I have fixed the recipe and you should have the steps you need. I apologize for that. Have a great new year and thanks for stopping by
Thanks so much!
What temperature? What water? Fresh parmesan or the cheap stuff?
I updated my recipe builder and this is the 3rd time stuff disappeared on this recipe. Thanks for noticing and I fixed it.
