As the seasons change and the temperature begins to get cooler, there’s no better way to warm your home and make your family happy than by creating delicious, comforting oven-baked desserts. One way to get the most out of your fall desserts is to utilize seasonal recipes that call for the use of seasonal fruits and vegetables such as pumpkin and apple. Seasonal vegetables and fruits not only taste better, but they are also more budget-friendly. Try out the following two recipes that utilize this season’s best produce to create great desserts this fall.

This recipe is a great snack or dessert, and is a great way to use those apples you may have gathered on your latest apple-picking trip. Feel free to make your apples without nuts, or add your favorite type of nuts in place of walnuts.
