Here is one easy weeknight meal when you’re short on time but hungry for something that does not come in a paper bag and eaten in a car. It was one of those days for me when I cooked this. I served it with Noodle Roni and some canned corn. The whole meal was ready in less then 30 minutes. How cool is that?
Ingredients
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 large clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper
2 – 6 ounce thin beef steaks
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon corn starch
1 Tablespoon heavy cream
Melt the butter and oil in a deep saucepan and saute the garlic until fragrant. Salt and pepper the steaks, then place them in the pan and cook on medium high heat until the steaks are a bit pink in the middle. This will depend on how thin your steaks are and how “done” you want them.
Add the corn starch to the juices in the pan and cook until thickened. Add the cream and stir until mixed. Serve this with your favorite veggie and pasta.

I love garlic on my steak. Some mushrooms would put this steak over the top! Thanks so much for sharing on Two Cup Tuesday at Pint Sized Baker. I’ve Pinned this!
