Cape Cod Select sent me cranberries to use for this post and to submit it to a recipe contest. How awesome is that?
Frozen Cranberries are where it’s at! Have your favorite appetizers & more year round. Check out this Goat Cheese & Cranberry Appetizer for your next event.
Mid summer is party central around here. We belong to a wine club and host two events each summer. This year our second event was smaller but so much fun. Each wine club event calls for appetizers to share and this time, I made a yummy spread with Cape Cod Select Premium Frozen Cranberries and cream cheese.
Cape Cod Select is a small women-owned family business. The Rhodes family has been growing cranberries on their 800 acre farm for more than 75 years. Their cranberries are grown to some of the industry’s highest standards and are Non-GMO verified and hold GLOBAL G.A.P Certification. Likewise, Cape Cod Select has a focus on sustainability powering its facilities primarily with solar power and using better growing practices on their farm. In 2009 Cindy Rhodes founded Cape Cod Select, the retail face for the Edgewood Bogs Cranberry Growers. Cape Cod Select set out to be different, to change the cranberry market. There were two basic goals; Provide the public with “Cranberries for All Seasons”, and make them THE BEST quality on the market.
The beauty of using these quality frozen cranberries is that you can make this appetizer year round rather then waiting for the fresh ones each holiday season. And you’d never know they came from the freezer. They are amainzg! Beautiful color and intense cranberry flavor.
So rather than waiting for the holidays, you can now buy fresh tasting frozen cranberries any time of year, thanks to Cape Cod Select! And they are plump and fresh right out of the bag. No “raisen looking” frozen cranberries for me.
