Do you like the 4th of July? Food, fireworks and fun? I’ve always enjoyed it and have made a special point to make yummy food and hang out with friends eating and watching fireworks.
This year, we’re going to my niece & nephews and they have an amazing view of the valley. Can’t wait to watch fireworks from their balcony and eat. Now what am I going to make?
Growing up, my Uncle Jim had a 4th of July party every year. It was a family tradition to go over there and grill burgers & dogs, play lawn games and set off fireworks. One year, another family member built two rockets; one about 5 feet tall (which didn’t go anywhere) and another about 12 inches long that made it about 5 feet off the ground. Lucky for us we didn’t catch the city on fire!
This week, I’m featuring yummy desserts to serve at your 4th of July party. Enjoy!
