I remember Father’s Day when I was a kid,, taking Dad out to dinner to a favorite spot, either Spenger’s in Berkeley, CA or The Ole Hick’ry Pit in Walnut Creek, CA. Both are still there too! Dad passed some years back however I’m thinking of visiting some of the old haunts to taste the food and reminisce. I’m flying out there in a couple of weeks so I’ll check it out.
