Welcome to Tickle My Tastebuds! This is a favorite day of mine where I see all the delicious creations you have come up with. How hot is it where you are? It’s going to be a scorcher the next few days so this week’s features are all about refreshing foods for hot weather.
Today, it’s going to be 101 degrees. One Hundred and One!!! That’s August weather folks, not June! I like warm weather but this is taking things a bit too far. I’ve put three water dishes out with the chickens and have the air going so the house stays cool. I hope you’re staying cool too. I hope it doesn’t get much warmer than this.
My veggies are going to take a heat-beating too so I basically drown them last night so they will survive the unusually hot June temps. What are your tips and tricks for keeping your garden from over heating? And you from over heating?
While you’re thinking about that, let’s get on to the party. I cannot wait to see what you link up!
Now… Lets get Tickle My Tastebuds going!
