No Bake Almond Butter, Oat and Chocolate Bites. If you’re looking for a sweet treat that’s more on the healthy side, this is it.
As I mentioned Tuesday on my link party post, I attended the Pinners Conference in Salt Lake over this past weekend. The weekend was full of amazing classes, vendors and had such high positive energy, I could bounce around all day. Some of my favorite classes should be of no surprise to you; they are the food ones. This recipe I’m about to show you came from a class taught by Lisa from VeggieLisa. It’s super easy and will satisfy any sweet tooth.
If you have not heard of Pinners, let me tell you all about it. It started right here in Utah in 2013 and now is held in four locations across the U.S. I’ve been going since it’s inception and first heard about it from Hubby. Yep, you heard that right… Hubby discovered it. Pinners has just gotten better and better each year. This year, I took 13 classes ranging from cute home decor crafts to lifestyle classes to food demos. It was an amazing experience.
When Lisa from VeggieLisa demonstrated this recipe during one of the classes, I knew I was going to make it right away. I had most of the ingredients at home too! She had samples of her chocolate bites she passed out and they were delicious. So when I got home, I went straight to the kitchen and made it.
Lisa’s recipe included natural peanut butter and semi-sweet dark chocolate chips. I used almond butter (which she also suggested) and since I didn’t have chocolate chips, I chopped up a dark chocolate bar I had on hand. Sometimes you just have to be flexible with your recipes.
