Game day made perfect with a 13-bean turkey chili. This post contains affiliate links.
Super Bowl is just 10 days away and what are you making for the big game party? You want something that is easy so you don’t miss a single play (or a single commercial) so why not bust out the slow cooker? My slow cooker gets the most work when I’m feeding a crowd since it frees me up to do other things such as eat and chat with friends and family. This 13-bean turkey chili starts with a soup mix, adds ground turkey, onion and seasoning to make a game day meal everyone will love.
This is our second year hosting the Super Bowl and this is the chili I made last year and also for one of the playoff games this year. It’s always been a crowd pleaser and it’s lightened up by using turkey instead of chili. Using the slow cooker, my guests can help themselves when they get hungry and I can spend more quality time with my friends. It’s a win-win situation!
This recipe will feed a crowd. My slow cooker is the fabulous Cuisinart 3-In-1 Cook Central 6-Quart Multi-Cooker which not only is a slow cooker, but can brown/saute and can be used as a steamer as well. This chili recipe fills the entire 6 quart tub so I hope your guests are hungry!
Football parties are a blast. I found a bunch of fun things at Zurchers party store to make this party a bit more festive and get everyone in the game day spirit. They have everything so I got plates, bowls, chip and dip set and more, all with a football theme. Let the festivities begin!
