It’s February 12th and I was outside today, in the sun, with no jacket in Utah! It feels so much like spring right now and the pups are enjoying playing outside. I’m loving it too and it’s so easy to start thinking ahead of gardening, flowers and picnics. But, we’ll have a hard reminder of winter next week so I’ll enjoy it as I can. When it gets cold, I want that yummy comfort food and this recipe for hamburger steak is one my mom used to make us kids. It’s comfort food at it’s finest and will please adults and kids alike.
My sis and I had many favorites of moms while growing up. I posted her Baked Hot Dogs with Beans a year and a half ago and a lot of you made it a pretty popular recipe. Thank you for that. This one I guess you could call it a salisbury steak or individual meatloaves, but I’ll keep it what my mom called it: Hamburger Steak.

The picture I don’t think does the recipe justice. It’s hard to photograph something that is basically all one color. But trust me when I say this was delicious. Of course I made a few “Lorifications” to Mom’s old recipe but I think I still did her proud. Hubby said I can make this one any time I want to.
